Heat Transfer on Jerseys

Here at Tee Compressed, we love wearables! We work primarily with t-shirts but we also print on alternate types of wearables. Recently the San Diego Police Department sent in their polyester softball jerseys. Their team needed to have them printed with a universal print on the front and different names and numbers for each back of the jersey. The most cost effective solution for a multiple print small run is the process of heat transfer.

Heat transfer is the process of applying custom prints to material with a combination of heat and pressure. There are two types of heat transfer- vinyl and digital print. With vinyl, the custom letter or number is cut out of vinyl and is transferred onto the material. With digital transfer, the paper is printed with a solvent ink that is then transferred with heat to the material. The finished product is a long standing, water resistant, washable piece that will last for years!

The SDPD was very happy with the result of their jerseys! Their season has just started. We at Tee Compressed agree, that If they play as sharp as they look they are going to win all season long!!
